This project aims to encourage a slower, more balanced pace of life, in response to the needs expressed by a large number of people in Quebec.

Why slow down?
According to the ASPQ, 63% of workers in Quebec would like to slow down their pace of life. This figure reveals an undeniable reality: our hectic pace of life has repercussions on our mental and physical well-being. By adopting a slower lifestyle, we can:
- Reduce stress: Chronic stress is a major factor in mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Slowing down helps reduce daily pressure and better manage stress.
- Improving quality of life: Taking the time to savor life's little pleasures and reconnect with yourself and others contributes to a better quality of life.
- Promoting mental health: A slower pace of life provides moments of pause and reflection, which are essential for maintaining good mental health.

How can I slow down?
Here are some strategies to help you slow down and promote your mental health:
- Take regular breaks: Take breaks throughout the day to rest and recharge your batteries.
- Prioritize essential activities: Focus on the most important tasks and learn to say no to non-essential commitments.
- Practicing mindfulness: Meditation and mindfulness can help you stay present and appreciate every moment.
- Reducing the use of technology: Limit screen time and prioritize in-person interactions.
- Engage in relaxing activities Reading, walking, yoga, or any other activity that brings you calm and relaxation.
