The co-founders

The creation of My Web Hub stems not only from professional expertise, but also from shared experience: each of the three co-founders has personally encountered barriers to accessing mental health care. Their common observation? Accessing mental health care and support is often an obstacle course: too complex, too fragmented, not inclusive enough, and not adapted to the realities of modern life. Their response? My Web Hub.

They turned their frustrations and personal struggles into the driving force behind building a platform that breaks down these barriers. Their mission goes beyond simply offering resources: it is about creating a real Hub that is inclusive, intuitive, and human-centered, where everyone, regardless of their difficulties or background, can finally find the path to accessible well-being.

Chloé Sincerny

Communications Manager

Generalized anxiety has always been present in my life. It was only identified as such in 2017, when I went through a severe episode of burnout.

This experience changed my perspective on work and access to mental health care. I realized how much our society lacks resources for those who struggle in silence. However, I don't want my story to remain a painful memory, but rather a source of motivation.

Today, I am committed to promoting a caring work culture, where balance and mental health are fundamental rights. This is one of the reasons why I decided to co-found My Web Hub.

Cynthia Pelletier-Drouin

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of My Web Hub, I am committed to making mental health more accessible, humane, and inclusive.

After going through some difficult times myself, I decided to pursue a master's degree in mental health, a journey that transformed me and made me want to help others regain their balance.

I am delighted to have co-founded My Web Hub, a free platform comparable to a “2-1-1 for mental health,” where anyone can find reliable and tailored resources. A centralized directory also connects professionals, organizations, and small businesses in the mental health and alternative health sectors, based on their services and availability.

Anecdote: I have a severe visual handicap. My right eye is legally blind. My left eye has a field-of-view percentage of 40%. My visual acuity is limited and the whole thing can't be adjusted. I was born this way. I also have a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD), which explains a lot of things in my life.

And yet, my first learning experience with a computer began when I was 5, in 1994. I learned to play chess.

Then, when I was 10, in 1999, I discovered discussion forums where I learned to create my own websites to share knowledge as well as passions.

The volunteers

We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated and passionate volunteers who are at the heart of everything we do. Their commitment and generosity make our initiatives possible and enable us to support the mental health and well-being of our community. Every volunteer plays a vital role in our mission to promote well-being and provide valuable resources to those in need. Their work is a true testament to compassion and solidarity.

To protect their privacy, we do not publicly disclose all of our volunteers.

Ale CaSaa

Content Creator

I am a social communicator and journalist by profession, and writing has always been a way for me to connect with others. Over the years, I have written on many topics and for different contexts: media outlets, agencies, universities, and even book authors. But having the opportunity to create content that promotes emotional well-being and supports the community is, without a doubt, the most rewarding thing I do.

As a migrant woman and worker, I know how difficult it can be to adapt to a new life without neglecting everyday responsibilities. Often, we take care of everything except our emotional well-being. Contributing to Mon Carrefour Web allows me to put my skills to use in a meaningful project: writing with empathy, with intention, and with the hope of reaching those who need support.

If you are reading this, I invite you to explore the content of the site, follow us on social media, and share these resources with your friends and family. Taking care of our mental health is a priority.
