1. The "Perfect Day "

The perfect day often begins with a peaceful awakening, accompanied by the sun's gentle rays filtering through the curtains. After a well-balanced breakfast, we devote ourselves to an activity we're passionate about, such as reading, sport or music. The afternoon is ideal for catching up with friends, exploring new places or simply relaxing in nature. Finally, the evening comes to a gentle close, with a good meal with the family or a moment of relaxation in front of a favorite film. Above all, a perfect day is one that fills us with joy and leaves us with warm memories.

Exercise:
Rédigez un paragraphe décrivant votre journée parfaite. Essayez d’inclure :

  • A precise description of the waking moment.
  • The main activities that bring you pleasure.
  • A pleasant way to round off your day.

Don't be afraid to express your emotions and detail what makes this day so special for you.

2. The 5 Whys technique

The 5 Whys technique is a powerful tool for better understanding what really motivates us. It consists of asking the question: Why is this important to me? For example, if you want to become a writer, you might ask yourself: "What do you want to be? For example, if you want to become a writer, you might ask yourself: Why is this important to me? and answer: "Because I love telling stories." . Then you ask yourself why this love of stories is important, and so on. This method often uncovers deep, sometimes unexpected reasons that guide your choices and aspirations.

Exercise:
Choose a goal or area of interest that's close to your heart. Then ask yourself: " Why is this important to me? " and answer it truthfully. Repeat this question five times, going deeper with each answer. Write down your answers and reflect on what you've discovered about your deeper motivations.

3. The "Flow" "

The "Flow" Exercise helps you better understand what you're really passionate about. "Flow" is that particular state where you're totally absorbed in what you're doing, to the point of forgetting about the passage of time. This can happen when you're playing a sport, drawing, writing or even working on a project you're enthusiastic about. These moments are precious, as they often reveal your natural talents and true interests.

Exercise:
Take a moment to think about situations in which you have experienced this state of intense concentration. Write down at least three activities that have put you in this state of "Flow" . Then briefly describe how you felt during those moments, and why you think you're so passionate about these activities.

4. The Wheel of Life

The Wheel of Life is a visual tool for assessing your level of satisfaction with various aspects of your life. This wheel is generally divided into several important categories, such as work, relationships, leisure, health and personal development. By rating each area on a scale of 1 to 10, you get an overview of your life balance. If some areas are clearly less fulfilled than others, this may reveal aspects you could focus on to improve your overall well-being.

Exercise:

  1. Draw a circle and divide it into sections corresponding to the key areas of your life (work, family, health, leisure, finances, etc.).
  2. For each category, give a score from 1 to 10 according to your current level of satisfaction.
  3. Connect the dots to visualize your Wheel .
  4. Identify the areas that are less balanced and think about concrete actions to improve these aspects of your life.

5. The Letter from the Future

The Letter from the Future is an inspiring exercise that helps you clarify your deepest aspirations. It involves projecting yourself 5 or 10 years into the future and writing a letter in which you describe your ideal life as if you were already there. Imagine your successes, your relationships, your habits and your daily environment. This exercise helps you to define your goals precisely, and to better understand what's really important to you.

Exercise:
Write a letter 5 or 10 years into the future, addressed to yourself. Describe your ideal life in detail: your job, your relationships, your hobbies, your achievements and your general well-being. Express how you feel about this accomplished life, and mention the milestones that helped you get there. Be positive and ambitious, while remaining sincere about your aspirations.
